In 1964 Rob Hegel wrote his first song and began a journey that continues to present day. From his earliest recordings with 60’s garage band Bittervetch (recently released on CD by Gear Fab Records) to his cult classic RCA recording of “TOMMY, JUDY & ME” and the top twenty Air Supply recording of “JUST AS I AM,” Rob has exhibited a diverse and intelligent writing style sadly lacking in modern music.
On this page you will find samples of some of Rob’s best known compositions. On the pages that follow you can listen to some of his songs from the 60’s (Bittervetch) and songs from his recording days at RCA, including both released versions of “TOMMY, JUDY & ME.” You will also find information on his novel, TUXEDO BOB, and his musical thriller, THE MIRROR OF MISTER MOORE.
